El Greco Doll - Greek Blue hair.
Quite a big doll - destinctive blue (Greek) wool mop hair and moulded pastic head and hands wearing blue & white cotton striped dress with long sleeves (velcro fastening) with lace trim and white pinny wearing white underwear and blue soft shoes. Legs, body and arms are white and made of soft white material. No branding that we can find. Pink lips, nose and freckles.
Size: ~40 x ~20 x ~10 cms
Weight: ~400 g's
Origin - possibly Greek and from -80s.
Condition very good - appropriate for age. Has been kept in plastic original bag
Found online - are primarily iconic 1980s plush toys produced by the Greek company El Greco. These vintage dolls are recognized by their soft, plush bodies, yarn hair, and often, their vibrant, solid-colored outfits, making them a popular collectible from that era. Not sure how it came to us.
