Slugs and snails do not like to cross the material which is a natural organic slow-release fertiliser and will release nutrients much slower for plants compared to chemical fertilisers.
It also has excellent moisture retention. The wool holds onto any applied moisture reducing the need for frequent watering in hot weather. It acts as a great barrier around the base of a plant which in turn will protect the plant. It can be easily blended into other potting mixes. Ingredients: 100% Natural wool/organic matter
Instructions: Place the wool pellets around the base of the plant and water lightly. It will expand to create a matting to protect the plant and soil beneath.
