Honey Bees have been under serious pressure - not just from Colony Collapse Disorder where only a live Queen is left alive in the colony but also from fungi and parasites spread from the Varrora mite.

Honey Bee pollination is crucial to the commercial production of many of our crops.

What we can all do - is not use pesticides or at least not during the middle of the day when Honey Bees are out and about foraging for food. In addition plant pollinator friendly plants - good sources of pollen and nectar like red clover, foxglove, bee balm and other native plants.

We donate 10% of our online product price to different 'Global Giving' projects and for any Bee Girl's bought online, we will make sure this goes to a Bee friendly project.
