Visiting a french market one saturday afternoon brought about a love of beeswax candles. The stall was filled with all things honey, including honey cakes and sheets of beeswax with their lovely perfume. Memories of afternoons strolling in the sunshine and bees humming among the flowers. |
Our handrolled beeswax candles are made from local English beeswax.
We would like to bring the countryside to you, maybe to add warmth to a beautiful meal or a cosy evening or candlelit soak in the bath or to decorate a special event .. a wedding or party outside in the summer. Perhaps a gift to someone special. To produce one pound of beeswax, the worker bees eat about ten pounds of honey, fly 150,000 miles, and visit 33 million flower blossoms! Beeswax is very precious stuff. Beeswax candles burn brighter than all alternatives. There is no brighter flame - they have the same light ray as sunshine. |

Not so well known - beeswax candles clean the air of positive ions such as dust, odors, toxins, pollen, mould and viruses. like after the rain. This is proven to be beneficial for people who have asthma and hayfever. To do our bit for the environment, we will send the candles to you in recycled packaging. |
